PLEASE NOTE

  • For departures starting on Thursdays and Fridays between 27 June and 15 Aug 2025 inclusive, the transfer to Voss will depart Bergen Airport at 13:00. Any flight which arrives by 12:30 will be fine.
  • For all other 2025 departure dates, the transfer to Voss will depart Bergen Airport at 12:15. Any flight which arrives by 11:45 will be fine.

If you are unable to arrive in Bergen at this time you can still get to Voss via the train – see FAQs for details.

On Day 4, for all departures except those starting on Thursdays and Fridays in May 2025 a group transfer to Bergen airport is planned to coincide with the scheduled departure time of the Norwegian Air direct evening flight to London Gatwick (Flight DY1318). Please do not book a flight departing before 19:00.

  • For departures starting on Thursdays and Fridays in May 2025 the drop-off time at Bergen airport will be approximately 16:00, in time for any flight departing after 17:00. There is no direct evening flight from Bergen to London for these dates however there are usually indirect flight options with good connections (and a total flight duration of as little as 4hr 10 mins). Alternatively, you may want to book a post-tour hotel in Bergen/Bergen airport and take a direct flight the next morning.

(Transfer times will be updated for the 2026 season in October 2025, and may differ from the above.)

Everest Base Camp - Dec 2024

I’ve already recommended this trip to friends! This was my first trip with Much Better Adventures and I’m super impressed with how well organised everything was. We were very lucky to have Sunil, Tika, Sebika and Bijaya as our guides.

A bucket list experience

The Everest Base Camp trek is an experience is hard to describe, filled with staggeringly beautiful landscapes that take your breath away. But what truly elevated this journey for me wasn’t just the scenery—it was the extraordinary team of guides.
